Depression and Suicide
There are many factors in a person's life that can lead to depression and low self-esteem such as bullying and cyberbullying. He or she may begin to feel worthless, which can ultimately lead to depression. This is a problem that can carry on into adulthood and may even go as far as suicide. There have been many cases of children committing suicide because of bullying, cyberbullying, and depression.
If you feel depressed or even if you just feel sad, it is okay to go to someone and talk with them about your feelings such as a teacher, parent, sibling, or friend.
It is important for everyone to be able to recognize the signs of someone who is depressed and get help or offer help right away.
